Support for Needy Persons:
When requested, TWI for the Children provides clothing, school supplies, sports equipment and even medical equipment to organizations schools and clinics in the Balkans. This equipment is taken with volunteers going to the Balkans as part of TWI for the Children projects.
Each Summer, Camp to Kids Teams present sports equipment to the schools visited during their time in Bosnia. This equipment usually consists of basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, and nets. This equipment is badly needed by the schools and is gratefully received. TWI for the Children has provided basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls and basketball nets to the schools we have visited during the past 12-years. We also distributed soccer uniforms as gifts. The majority of these gifts are donated by stores and persons interested in helping the children in the Balkans.
In October 2009, students from American University in Washington DC again took bags of clothes, donated to TWI, with them on their field trip to the Balkans. These clothes were then provided to orphans in Sarajevo and Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Thank you for your interest in our projects to help others. TWI for the Children needs your assistance to continue our work in the Balkans.
