Purpose
The International Studies Program:
(1)
Provides scholarships for Bosnian students at universities
in the Balkans.
(2) Provide a Leadership Workshop for University Students
from Balkan countries.
Projects
Scholarships for Balkan Students
TWI for the Children provides scholarships to selected students from Bosnia and Herzegovina to attend colleges and technical schools in Greece. During the last semester of the 2008-2009 school-year TWI for the Children will provide funds to students attending Anatolia University in Greece. Learn about our Scholarship Student.
Leadership Workshop
TWI provides a Leadership Conference/Workshop in Montenegro each summer that brings together university age students and selected adults from Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro to discuss topics of interest to persons in the Balkans together with topic experts from the United States. TWI provides accommodations and travel expenses for the conference. The initial Leadership Conference was held in Montenegro in July 2008.
