2010 Project:

>   Not scheduled due to lack of Funding.

Background:

TWI Training  Workshops began in 1997 as seminars for caretakers in orphanages and has become an important part of our work in the Balkans.

TWI  takes Training Workshops to towns in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo,  and Montenegro. The workshops are designed to train the trainers thus meeting the needs of caretakers, teachers, mental health providers, and others who work with children. Training Workshops focus on such topics as anger management, learning disorders, attention deficit disorders, stress among the caretakers and teachers, drug addiction,  and working with special needs children

Review the success we have achieved during our past Training Workshop Projects.

TWI has been asked by schools and orphanages to provide advice on combating drugs in the community.  This is an outline on Drug Prevention in Schools that we have used in our projects.

Read an important interview with Mrs. Miller on Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder

Educational Training Workshops are expensive and funds are required to help defer the cost of transportation, and cost of workshop facilities.
